Welcome to the homepage of Vitality Multisport, an organization dedicated to helping you maintain a healthy, vital lifestyle while achieving your multisport goals and improving your performance.
We specialize in helping busy age-group triathletes get the most out of their available training time and do so by utilizing the latest in endurance sports science.
With regards to coaching specifically:
- We believe that the key element is a good working relationship with open communication and encourage phone and email contact on a regular basis.
- We believe in continuous improvement and working to better ourselves.
- We believe that goals without plans are just dreams. We will set process goals to help you on your path of continuous improvement. These process goals will also support your specific performance targets.
- Performance results from training stress supported by proper amount of recovery. Our athletes train hard, but with a focus on specificity. Training for triathlon has to fit within our lives and be interwoven with other life stressors.
- What’s measured is managed (and generally improves) – we will use data to guide our process (TSS, power, pace, HR, etc.), but balanced with the “non-linear” aspects of racing.
- Triathlon (and especially IM) success requires attention to the mental aspects of training and racing as much as the physical.
