We will begin the process with an extensive interview and consultation on your athletic history, your experience, your perceived strengths and weaknesses, and your short- and long-term goals. The next step will be to create your Annual Training Plan (ATP) that outlines and summarizes how you will progress through the season and how the individual workouts will help get you ready for your highest-priority events. The ATP will serve as a guide throughout the year and we will modify it as necessary based on how the season progresses.
Nutrition is often said to the the “4th discipline” of long-course triathlon. A practical approach to plans for race fueling and everyday nutrition can go a long way towards helping you achieve your goals. Sheila Leard is a registered dietician and sports nutritionist and can assess all aspects of your lifestyle to help you create a unique plan specific for your needs.
